A Love Story: Cam and Michael Wedding at the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel

What started with messages exchanged online soon turned into late-night conversations and shared laughter. After a week of texting, they both knew there was something special brewing between them.

For the next two years, they navigated a long-distance relationship, living an hour apart. Despite the distance, their bond only grew stronger. And in late 2018, they took the leap and moved in together, officially beginning a new chapter in their lives.

As their relationship deepened, so did their shared dreams. One particular dream that Cam held close to her heart was to welcome a furry friend into their home. It took some convincing, but eventually, Michael agreed. In January 2020, they welcomed Stassi, a charming feline diva, who quickly became the ruler of their household. Little did they know, Stassi would play an unexpected role in the year ahead.

As the world grappled with the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, Michael and Cam found solace in each other's company. Locked down together, they discovered new ways to cherish the simple moments and strengthen their bond. And amidst the chaos, their love remained steadfast.

When life finally started to regain a sense of normalcy, Michael knew it was time to take the next step in their journey together. On December 10, 2022, at the Kaleideum Science Museum, where their love story began, he got down on one knee and asked Cam to be his forever.
