Ashley & Kaleb Jones Wedding in Burlington

"Kaleb and I are huge geeks. We love Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, video games, etc. I used to cosplay (dress up like characters) as a hobby and go to conventions dedicated to all things geek/nerd. Three years ago I decided to go to a convention in Greensboro with a couple of friends and dressed up as a character from a show I really liked at the time. At conventions, it's not uncommon for people to approach you and ask for a picture. I was hanging out with my friends, just talking and having fun, when a very nice looking guy came up to me and asked me for a picture. Because this is a normal thing at conventions, I agreed and we took a selfie. He also liked the show and we started chatting about our favorite characters and the story. We talked for awhile, but I had to go, so we exchanged Instagrams and we went on our way. He messaged me that night, we exchanged numbers, and we've talked everyday since then! He is my best friend and the love of my life! I could not imagine my life without him."

"During the summer of 2019, we decided to take a trip to the Outer Banks. We both love the beach and wanted to get away for a bit. We decided to visit Ocracoke Island. We went exploring during the day and ended up on the beach just as the sun was setting. Kaleb and I were walking down the beach, talking and laughing, just enjoying being with each other. Suddenly, he led me to a deserted part of the beach and got down on one knee! He asked me to marry me and I said yes! It was perfect!"
