Can you photoshop senior portraits?
Despite your best efforts, there could be certain senior photos that you may want to touch up for a better appearance.
One practical reason to photoshop senior photos is to cover up skin blemishes.
You can photoshop senior portraits to make them look better. However, before getting into that, it is best to take a few sensible steps so that you won't ever have to manipulate images.
Keep your makeup simple and stylish. Try as far as possible to cover up blemishes. Besides the lip gloss, keep everything else matte.
Manicure your nails properly and make sure they are not chipped.
Your clothes should be clean and unfolded. Bring them along on hangers so that there aren’t any folds or creases on them that will look bad in the picture.
You can include great props and accessories to amp your personality in your senior photos, like shoes, scarves, hats, belts, bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
Do your hair the way you want them to look on the senior portrait. You can take a selfie to check how you look.
If you are interested in different hairdos for your senior session, then try them out in advance to see how you really look in selfies.
Since the senior portrait is one of the most important photo sessions of your life, it is always better to arrange a pre-session consultation. Your photographer will have done several senior photo sessions and will have a good idea of what will look good on you.
You can request the photographer to show you photos of different locations so that you can pick those you like.
