How to Surprise Propose

Planning the perfect proposal for your significant other can be nerve-racking and overwhelming, especially if they are expecting you to pop the question soon. The pressure to make it perfect and memorable while keeping it a surprise can leave you a little stressed. After all, it’s the first step to matrimonial bliss!

Usually, people have their perfect proposal planned out to the smallest detail in their heads. You are probably wondering how to do everything that will make your other half happy without ruining the surprise.

The first step is to stop scrolling through thousands of proposal ideas! Relax. You got this. You know your significant other better than any website or blog. You know what they love and what makes them happy. Just do that, and you’re good to go!

Ladies! Take the First Step

Are you waiting for your boyfriend to pop the question soon? How about you be the one to put a ring on it instead! Why wait around for him to plan the perfect proposal when you can simply do it yourself? He will surely be flattered and pleasantly surprised.

Choose a Random Day

Chances are that your love is expecting to be proposed on their birthday or your anniversary or other big moments such as the holidays. Surprise them on a random Wednesday evening instead. They won’t see it coming.

Keep Them Curious

Let some moments pass when they’re expecting a proposal, and they will start second-guessing your intentions. But make sure not to play it out too much and disappoint them or hurt their feelings. You want to keep them on their toes.

Surprise Her…By Doing What She Expects

Why go to the lengths of making it different and come up with an elaborate plan to surprise propose when you can do it exactly the way they told you they want to be proposed. It will end up surprising them all the same. After all, you can be 100% sure that is what will make them happy.

Create a Distraction

If your significant other is naturally curious and loves to guess what’s happening, plant false leads to distract them from your original plan. Chances are, they will love figuring it out like a puzzle and enjoy the process just as much as you.

Make it Intimate

Keep the proposal as personalized as you can. It should be about you two and celebrating your relationship. Plan the proposal around your common interests and activities. A proposal should be memorable and romantic/I It doesn’t have to be extravagant and showy. It just needs to be about what makes you both happy. Public proposals may be loud and cheery, but keeping it private will ensure intimacy.

Proposals are the beginning to a beautiful new journey. No matter how you actually pop the big question, it will be memorable for years to come.
