Why You Should Have a First Look

The first look is the occasion on the big day when the bride and groom look at each other for the first time. During the first look, the couple that will soon be wed have a private moment to themselves where they can meet each other in peace out of the glare of onlookers.

Here is why you should have a first look.

You Are Better Prepared

You will be better prepared to walk down the aisle if you meet each other beforehand. This is important especially if you want to appear confident in front of a distinguished crowd of relatives and friends.

This is necessary since most people can be very nervous before walking down that aisle.

Less Risk

The wedding with the love of your life happens once in a lifetime hence it is not worth taking the risk. You should have your first look before the ceremony begins to keep things going as smooth as possible. There will be no retakes so it pays to play it safe.

The first look can help you to take all necessary bridal portraits and couple photos before ceremonies commence. You will have much peace of mind as you will just have to meet guests after that.

More Photos

The first look will allow for more photos. And it is always best to have more weddings than less. The first look can give you an early start for more wedding photos.

It is better to take the photos when you are fresh and relaxed before appearing in front of guests.

Some will tell you that you can take great photos without the first look since it allows for raw spontaneous reactions. However, it is always better to play it safe since you want everything to go right on the once in a lifetime occasion.
